Starting my YouTube journey with a travel vlog Edinburgh to Dunfermline by Train felt exciting and a little nervous at the same time. For my very first vlog, I decided to travel from Edinburgh to Dunfermline and share the full experience with viewers.
The journey included buses, tram rides, train travel, meeting new people, and exploring the atmosphere of Scotland during the trip. It turned out to be a memorable experience and a great start to my vlog journey.
Starting the Journey from Edinburgh
I started my trip in Edinburgh, one of the most beautiful cities in Scotland. The city always has a unique vibe with its historic streets, busy stations, and beautiful scenery.
Before catching my train, I also traveled on the tram for part of the journey. The tram experience in Edinburgh felt very smooth, clean, and comfortable. It was relaxing to sit back and enjoy the city views while traveling through different areas of Edinburgh.
Later, I headed towards Edinburgh Waverley Station to catch the train to Dunfermline. Since it was my first vlog and I was recording throughout the journey, I wanted to make sure I reached the correct platform. Thankfully, I met some friendly security guards at the station who helped guide me to the right train platform. Their helpful attitude made the experience much easier and less stressful.
The train journey between Edinburgh and Dunfermline is one of the easiest and most comfortable ways to travel between the two cities. The average journey usually takes around 30–35 minutes depending on the route and timing. (rome2rio.com)
A Memorable Conversation During the Journey
One of the most interesting moments during my trip happened when I met an elderly British man during the journey. We started having a friendly conversation, and he told me that he had previously worked in Pakistan.
What surprised me the most was how much he loved Pakistani food, especially biryani. He shared that whenever he lived in Pakistan, he always enjoyed eating biryani and really liked the culture and people there.
It was a very wholesome and unexpected conversation during the trip, and moments like these are one of the best parts of traveling. You never know who you might meet or what stories you will hear along the way.
Train Ride Experience
One of the best parts of the vlog was the train ride itself. Watching the views outside the window made the journey relaxing and enjoyable.
The route between Edinburgh and Dunfermline passes through beautiful Scottish scenery and gives travelers a calm experience away from the busy city environment.
I also showed parts of the train interior, the atmosphere during the ride, and some moments from the overall travel experience.
Traveling by train in Scotland feels smooth, organized, and beginner-friendly, especially for solo travelers.
